We would like to thank everyone for coming and racing with us tonight. It's always nice to have four classes: Novice, Stock, Advance and Expert. The real battle to watch  though was in Sportsman Class as all of these guys had a chance to be on top 3 spot.

Props goes to: Jerry, if we have "most improved driver award" I would give it to him.  In such a short period, this guy was able to run with novice battling top three position for months and now, new in sportsman and again, battling on top 3 spot! Also, his son Luke who just came back from Hawaii with no mini-z for almost a month and still took 2nd on tonights Race! Also Northern California's young mini-z driver, Ronak Mundkur. who's proudly trained by ILR in Cupertino, Ca. Better watch out for this kid as he is coming up fast... real fast. Did I mention he's only 9?  He's teamed up with his Dad as his mechanic/co-pilot. Learning everything and applying it on his son's car. Resulting an awesome colaboration of future World Champion...

Tonight we had a very unique race format. In expert class, we had 10 drivers with 5x 6 mins qualifier and a 10 mins A-main. Imagine 10 cars on this track layout, crazy? You have no idea. ;)
Although the track was a bit tight, it was definitely a good/challenging race to have. Well, for me that is. I haven't had time to test or even play my mini-z lately and having a chance to race with these fast Nor Cal drivers, is always a privilege.

Unfortunately our Sportsman and Novice class had to be combined due to the new format we used. I can see most of the drivers in this class were suffering from hackers and traffic. lol... Don't worry, just look at it as a learning step. Everyone had to do their part on that. :) Rest assure that we will seperate this class next time. :)
