Transponder wire route

TJ's picture

Where to run xponder wire aka pig tail.

1. Open the Board Cover and reamer a hole in the front part of the cover.

2. Insert the wire side of the pig tail into the hole.

3. Solder the wire +(red) and - (black) in the battery output tabs.
-positive side battery tab:

-negative side of the battery output tab:

note: you don't necessarily have to solder the wires on the battery tabs. You can also solder them on the switch. This way it turns on when you turn the car on.

4. Put the cover back together. Make sure the wire doesn't get crimped in between the cover and the chassis or damper plate system when putting back the cover.

5. Connect the tranponder and see if it works. Giro-z needs to be scanned under the bridge to see if it works or use your camera phone to see the light. iLAP should blink red to indicate that it has power.

Now you're ready to race!
