What’s up folks! I know it has been a while but I’ve been very busy at work. Anyhow, I’m finally able to put my car back on the track. Few things I tested was Reflex Racing’s New Front end, 96mm FRP plates and PN tire gluer. Today we will focus on PN’s Tire gluer and then maybe later, I’ll give my review about RR new products.
 
PN Mini-Z Tire Gluer
 
Well, who needs this $27 tire gluer right? Pro? Novice? This is what I hear about this product lately and to be honest with you, I don’t own one because I do my own glueing, old school style :D but then…
 
… I think the name of this kit should be something like, “tire balancer/gluer kit” because that’s exactly what it did on most of the wheels we used this kit on.
 
Ever seen those flat spots on your rear tires especially noticeable with rear radial tires? After Dee showed me how it made his rear tire balanced, I was curious to test it myself. What I did yesterday was, I installed PN6 radials w/out using PN kit and other one using this PN kit. Both tires set had about the same wear after an hour of runtime but the one I did w/out the PN kit had flat spots. Unlike the PN kit, it had very minimal flat spots. It is almost unnoticeable, visually.
 
This kit also works with tire tape. So even if you glue or tape your tires and your novice or pro driver, you want your tires/wheels balanced. This can help you get those tires as balance as possible if done properly.
 
I honestly wont buy this if it was ONLY for glueing tires, but since it made the tires balanced, I’m all over this kit!
