new drivers: driving/setup tips

Basic Setup for Newer Drivers:
Front
2.0 to 2.5 degree knuckles
white low down springs
PN20 Front Slicks
Rear
PN Blue lower springs
PN Green top springs
Medium T-bar
Kyosho 20 slicks wide
20 wt. damper oil
1. Set-up: Use a more forgiving set-up like harder front tires and stickier rear tires. The idea is to have your car push (understeer). This makes your car a lot manageable.
2. Practice is the key. No need to start chasing anyone on the track at this point. Practice on the track without hitting the rails first. Stay in the middle.
3. Try to get use to not letting go of the steering wheel.
4. When coming into a turn, slowly let go of the throttle and slowly/smoothly steer the car.
5. Let the car coast when coming into a turn.
6. Also make sure to check the steering balance on you radio
7. If you have an EX1-UR, set it up to "HIGH" respond only not "advance". This way the steering is more forgiving and not too twitchy.
Recommended Bodies:
1. NSX 2005 or 2007 = hard bodies and very easy to drive
2. Corvette = hard body and easy to drive. Easier than NSX.
3. 2005 or 2007 350Z = flat and stable.
Don't get... not yet.
1. Ferrari 360GTC
2. Ferrari 430GT
3. Lexus SC430
These bodies are for those that have more driving experience. These bodies are a bit twitchy.
That is it for now.
