La Crosse BC-900 AA/AAA Charger

This morning I needed to charge few of my AAA batteries for tonights test n tune at the shop and my favorite charger to bring to work was acting up. It was throwing the "FULL" code although there weren't any cell on there. I'm sure some of you La Crosse charger owners have seen this and the reason for this is because of the chemical that came out of your 700 mah cell especially when they were new. How to fix it? Well, honestly I didn't know until this morning. Basically what I did was take the charger apart and sprayed the positive terminals with an electric motor cleaner (safe on plastic) and wiped it dry with paper towel. That fixed it. Below is the step-by-step on how to do it. Hope this helps some of you guys.
Tools:
-small phillips screw driver
-small flat head screw driver
-electric r/c motor spray
-paint brush or low pressur air can spray

Please make sure to work on the charger while it is UNPLUGGED from the power source!
Step 1:
Remove 4 screws underneath the charger using your phillips screw driver.

Step 2:
Remove 4 smaller screws that's holding the board using phillips screw driver.

Step 3:
While keeping the charger upside down, pry the board using flat head screw driver. Apply light pressure only. Then pull it upward keeping the charger top cover down (upside down).

Step 4:
Brush off the board using the paint brush or low pressure air spray.

Step 5:
These are the positive terminal tabs. When your 700 mah cell leaks, it drips down through these tabs and into the board. Your next step is to spray the front and back of these tabs.

Back:

Step 6:
Using a paper towel, dry the lower portion of the terminal tabs and also the tabs itself. Make sure all the areas on the board are dry as well.
Step 7:
Put the assembly back together. While keeping the cover cover upside down, snap the board back in place. You will hear it click.

Step 8:
Put the small screws back in.

Step 9:
Then the lower cover using the remaining longer screws.

Step 10:
Power up the charger and see if the "FULL" code is now gone. It should be. If not, repeat the steps. Sometimes the build up is so thick that you may need to scrape it off the tabs using an x-acto knife of sand paper.

And you're ready to charge your pack!

Please note that this only fixes the "FULL" sign when there is no cell on the charger. It does not fix the missing number/letter on the window. Though I think if it's cleaned thoroughly, it may fix it but that's for you guys to do and share to me.
Thanks to Ray Leung for hooking me up with his LC charger!
