Newbie Tips, Part 3

Its been a while, but here's part three of an on-going Newbie series, brought to you by Dirty Dee!

Like most, I've switched over to the MR03 from the venerable MR02 (only reason I did so was because my fets disintegrated!).  Everything was running very smoothly, until one day, I changed my tires, and noticed that my car was very twitchy and would lose traction through turns.  On top of all this, it would not hold a straight line, and would barrel roll into the sweeper from the straight even if I didn't jerk the wheel and hit the line perfectly.  There were a few things I considered (as well as spoken to many of our racers about).

Newbie Tips, Part 2

Hey Noobs!  This week's installment has to do with shaving off time off your laps.  Like my previous post, I will re-iterate that time is not shaved off by sheer motor power or speed, but rather smoothness in your driving.  Once your driving throttle and steering are smooth (you're not jerking the wheel), you can now focus on your line

Newbie Tips, Part 1

Hey fellow Mini-Z enthusiasts!  This is the first part of a new blog series that I'm starting for all the newbies (noobs) out there.  I'm not the fastest racer out there, nor am I the most technical -- but I've moved up from absolute beginner to taking first in the B main's in about a months time!  It may be a little luck, but its a lot of practice too.  Here I will post what I have learned through both personal experience, and through the teachings of the expert racers here at Fast Pace Racing.
